Welcome aboard!
This is the first post here – the beginning of a journey that blends two worlds not often found together: real world crimes and command lines.
This blog will follow my hands-on pursuit of becoming a certified penetration tester, while still serving in the Indian Police Service.
That’s right – I’m not a hacker. Not yet.
But I’m learning. Seriously this time. No restarts, no derailments.
You’ll find here a mix of:
- Simple breakdowns of complex cybersecurity concepts
- My walkthroughs of labs, challenges, and tools
- Law enforcement perspectives on cybercrime
- Occasional reflections on bridging physical and digital security
- And yes, some rants and reboots – because learning isn’t linear
The journey ends (or maybe begins?) with the OSCP certification. But the road to it is full of logs, labs, and learning – and I’ll share all of that here.
If you’re a beginner, a bored techie, a law enforcement officer, or just curious about the overlap between crime-fighting and command lines – you’ll feel at home here.
Thanks for tuning in to the first packet of data on this blog.
Let’s dive in.
